On April 12, 2018 the Conference Board has passed its first major policy change. As we evaluated the current state of the Conference we noticed that there was a lack structure or ability for Conference Staff to issue fines or penalties to individuals/teams. Officials are often not the same from one weekend to the next and we noticed that repeat offenders were slipping through the cracks. These amendments will provide Conference Staff, who are present throughout the season, with a way to properly manage those issues.
These amendments will now be presented to USA Cycling for conflict review and resolution. It is our goal to work closely with the proper stakeholders over the course of the summer to have these rules implemented beginning the 2018/2019 academic year.
