2019 Trans and Non binary Women’s Camp

Every year the WCCC hosts a Trans and Nonbinary Women's Training Camp where new and experienced riders can hone their skills, develop camaraderie with other teams, and become further excited about cycling. Last year, the camp was a fun time of beautiful riding, campfire meals, and skill practice. We are looking forward to hosting an even better camp this year in Santa Cruz from October 18th to the 20th. As before, experienced and enthusiastic mentors, such as Katie Hall, are at the heart of this event.

This year we are especially excited to introduce some new updates to the camp such as our new location, volunteer project, and mountain bike mentors. We will be coming together with the Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz for a trail maintenance project to create new and better trails. Unlike before, we also have a food sponsor, New Leaf Markets, who will be providing us with fresh and local products.

The flyer and sign-up are available on USAC's website! The cost to attend is only $10 per person, meals and accommodation included! Please lookout for more information, but for now, mark your calendars so you don't miss out on one of the best events of the WCCC season! Lastly, please contact ashyr1221@g.ucla.edu for more information.
